What can I expect in our first session?
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have. There is no expectation to share everything right away. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
How long are sessions?
Session times are flexible with options ranging from 50-90 mins.
What are your fees?
Current session fees are $175. Payment is due at the time of your appointment, and receipts are provided for reimbursement if your extended health benefits include counselling services.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to the full session fee.

Is everything we talk about confidential?
Confidentiality is an important part of therapy. What you share remains private except in the rare situations where disclosure is required by law, such as concerns about immediate safety or legal obligations. These limits will be reviewed during your first session.
I'm nervous about starting therapy.
Many people feel uncertain before their first appointment, and that's completely understandable. Beginning therapy is a significant step. My goal is to create a space where you feel welcomed, respected, and supported without judgment. We will move at a pace that feels right for you.
How do I get started?
Getting started is simple. You can book a free consultation or reach out through the contact form. We'll briefly discuss what you're looking for, answer your questions, and decide whether working together feels like the right fit.
Still have questions?
Reaching out for therapy can bring up a lot of questions, and it's okay if yours isn't listed here. If you're wondering whether we're a good fit or you'd simply like to learn more, I'd be happy to connect. Feel free to book a complimentary consultation or send me a message—I look forward to hearing from you.
